FINALS DUH DUH DUH!

So Finals are upon us! It is more like finals two weeks instead of week this go around.  Tomorrow I have my last regular test for Critical Care nursing.  This is the one that I am failing.  I must make an 80 on it and the final to pass and stay in nursing school at Troy.  Please be praying that I do! I am taking a study break at this point.  I have a final next Thursday, Friday, and then the following Monday so no real crafty posts until then.
Saturday I am going to Troy Fest where a lot of local crafts and art will be featured.  This includes my talented husband's! He is a graphic designer and is awesome at what he does! He graduates in December as well.   I might post some pictures of his work and others I find, if time allows!
Well, until then, stay crafty.

Door Hanger Easy Craft

So today I breathed a sigh of relief, 2 tests in 2 days.  Didn't make so hot on either of them, but both of them are recoverable! I came home today and decompressed by watching some tv, cleaning my kitchen (I'm pretty sure things were growing), and making a small little "It's near the end of the semester, but I have got to create something or I will go stir crazy!" craft.
I needed something to hang on my back door for spring a.k.a. my St. Patrick's wreath had to come down! So I bought this cute little metal flower door hanger with a blank plaque. I got this door hanger at Michael's.  It was $1.99, I believe. In the wooden project section.  It's the back left in the Dothan Michael's!
I had started painting when  I remembered to take the picture! :)

And this is the final product hanging on my dirty (remember I live in a construction zone) door.
I think it turned out cute! It only took me 10-20 minutes and cost less than $3.00.  I already had the paint!

So it helped with my crafting needs, my door needs, and my happiness! :)
19 days until the end of school and I can do some real crafting!
I will post my bucket list for the summer on here Friday after clinicals hopefully!
Until then, Don't worry, Be happy!!

Domestic Animals

Ok, so I have to admit, my Mother In Law (MIL) really does call me domesticated.  I always tell her that she is trying to call me a cow or some kind of domesticated animal.  I really do love to do domestic things though! I grew up taking care of the house and my siblings and now I have my own house and husband to care for!
This blog will be about some of my many adventures in crafting, cooking, and my school endeavors.  I am currently in nursing school at Troy University and that consumes my life most of the time at this point! But summer break is getting ever so much closer! And I will get to craft and work on this house to my little heart's content.
My biggest project going right now is our house! We have bought and our doing a complete remodel on a house that was built in 1961 by some very bad carpenters! We are getting there! We still have leaks and such, but eventually it will be done.  I love planning how I will decorate it.
Right now, I am studying for a research test that I have tomorrow.  So, I must get back to that! I will post my project of the week sometimes during this week, probably on Wednesday afternoon!
Until then, do what you love!
